Bridge Engineer - Memphis, TN

The successful candidate's duties will include conducting the weekly meetings; review of shop drawings, change orders and pay requests; and supervising construction inspection performed by inspection staff. Resident engineer responsibilities may not be full time, with the balance being office work assisting with preparation of construction plans and designs calculations for other projects.


Qualifications

4-year degree in Civil Engineering and having passed the PE is required.
Professional engineering license with 5 to 10 years of bridge design experience is required. Requires related experience on steel bridge construction projects.
Must be able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications, have experience in using Excel spreadsheet software and, and have a working knowledge of construction-related processes. Experience in LRFD bridge design required.
