Position Overview:
The M&S Engineer will support development and execution of the Integrated Master test Plan (IMTP) and primary contract support to DE/S government customer.
Responsibilities:
The M&S Systems Engineer will perform routine to moderate engineering and analysis tasks to support, develop, and assess M&S processes and products for use in the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). This position will support M&S systems engineering and capability development to include system/product specifications and requirements; assessments of M&S systems/products according to established metrics. Will support M&S strategic planning, long and short range planning, and analysis of alternatives for activities and events. Position also will support development and execution of the Integrated Master test Plan (IMTP).
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience
- Proficiency in all phases of the acquisition life cycle including requirements analysis, design, code, test and integration
- Familiarity with Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS), Integrated Master Test Plan (IMTP), and Software Engineering processes
- Experience with M&S systems/products and test event integration
- Knowledge/experience in missile defense domain
- Demonstrated experience in developing products using Microsoft Office to include Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering required, Master's Degree in engineering preferred
- Proof of US citizenship
- Secret clearance required
