Need
Parsons is seeking a Principal Project Manager for our rapidly expanding Bridge Division. Based in New York City, this Seller-Doer will play a key role in new pursuits, managing projects and managing operations in our northeast district.  The Northeast District includes New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts and other New England states.  The successful candidate will spend a third of their time managing projects, a third on business development and a third on operations.  Parsons offices in the district include New York City, New Jersey, Boston and Buffalo.
 
Our New York center of excellence has designed bridges such as the New Carquinez, Third Tacoma Narrows, and new Autoroute 25 bridges, plus rehabilitation designs for Throgs Neck, Henry Hudson, George Washington, Verrazano Narrows and Brooklyn Bridges.   The candidate will have a successful track record of delivering bridge design projects in the New York metropolitan area and preferably New England.

Qualifications
  • 15 to 20 years of related work experience.
  • A successful track record of managing complex bridge projects
  • 4-year degree in Engineering
  • Relevant Design-Build experience
  • Professional Registration(s)
  • Must have strong relationships with key clients in New York metropolitan area
