- 5+ years Teradata Sql Assistant - 5+ years experience with reporting and analysis - SAS User Group preferred - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint or equivalents required. - Tableau experience preferred - Candidate must be highly motivated, self-starter, who demonstrates leadership. Ability to work independently and effectively under tight time constraints and deliver accurate results. - Experience with VBA and macros to automate reporting preferred - Ability to work for extended hours on critical projects as required. - Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. - Able to work without close supervision and can communicate and manage priorities effectively to meet deliverables - Education: BS/BA in business, finance, marketing or has equivalent combination of education and experience - Certifications: - Other: 5+ years reporting and analysis preferred, 5+ years in wireless would be preferred - Additional effort/hours required as necessary
The senior analyst will create comprehensive reporting to analyze VZW products, services, equipment, revenue and customer trends to support decision making made by different levels of leadership. Reporting is not limited to, but may utilize tools such as Teradata SQL Assistant, Tableau, SAS, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access to extract, aggregate, analyze, and interpret results. Must be comfortable working with large complex data sets as well as comfortable taking initiative to work directly with teams submitting requests, interpreting and translating the request into data sets and ultimately into a report which enables the requestor to make decisions. As needed, preparing concise, comprehensive and level-appropriate reports and presentations which may include but not limited to using tools such as Microsoft Power Point, Tableau, etc. Prepare ad-hoc reports for management for key executive presentations, business plans, and strategic plans. Data Analytics and statistical modeling leveraging tools such as SAS to design, develop and implement static and time series models which in turn can be used to create statistical scores intended to improve strategic initiatives and shareholder value Participate on cross-functional project teams to identify critical items required from a reporting perspective. Identify opportunities to enhance reports and methodologies. Able to transition reports and findings to production where appropriate so initial findings can be managed on a recurring basis. Develop reporting methodologies as needed. identify gaps in data and or reporting and work to get those gaps closed This position will have full accountability for their work and will be responsible for all projects from beginning to end.
