This position is located in Oklahoma City and the primary responsibility is the Subcontracts Management for the KC-10 program. Directs and manages all cost, schedule and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system. Acts as the main focal point to the subcontractors; briefs executive management and customer on the status and issues affecting performance or cost; and conducts program reviews with the subcontractors and program office. Responsible for and directs all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, and cost accountability. Makes decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. Establishes milestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. Leads team composed of Subcontracts Administrators.. Individual is responsible for managing/developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment and/or services. Duties include: daily operations of a team (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs) and the cost, schedule, and technical performance on our KC-10's subcontracts program. Ensures team meets deadlines and tasks to include audits via program schedules and allocation of resources. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. This position is a matrix position with dotted line reporting to the KC-10 Program Director. Candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to present to senior management/executive levels, be detail oriented towards meeting team's requirements and deadlines. Proven leadership to successfully lead and engage a team and be a team player.
Basic Qualifications: Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. Demonstrated management in the contracts/subcontract field. Ability to manage multiple subcontracts and ensure team meets deadlines and tasks to include audits via program schedules and allocation of resources. Presentation skills to senior and executive management using the Microsoft packages. Proven leadership to successfully lead and engage a team and be a team player. Bachelors degree or equivalent and 15 years of leading/managing multiple-faceted programs and personnel within the Contracts and/or Sub-Contracts Management disciplines.
