The Release Control Validation Management (RCVM) Crew Lead will manage the team that is responsible for defining and operating ITIL processes for Change Management, Release Management, Service Asset, and Configuration Management. Provides ITIL and process consulting internally to the JRDC contract and the IT Services organization. Position is part of the JRDC program located at Schriever AFB, CO.
The RCVM Crew Lead is responsible for providing technical and functional guidance and management for the RCVM team of the IT Services Organization. Will create/update/manage processes and ensure continuous process improvement. Responsible to provide training on specific processes and/or ITIL v3, as required. Will ensure IT management and process metrics are collected, analyzed, reported, and used to manage the business area. The RCVM Crew Lead will support generation of adhoc reports and data requests from Government and contract leadership and support internal and external process audits. May be required to interface directly with MDA CIO. Provides mentoring to other process owners regarding ITIL framework. Manages budget for RCVM team as a Control Account Manager (CAM). The RCVM Crew Lead will be the primary process owner for Configuration Management Database processes, content and tools, and ensures that Asset information is updated, validated, and maintained. The Lead will aid in the requirement definition for the automation of the business functions underlying CM and will be responsible for reporting on the Services and success of the CM program.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Master's degree and 10 years of experience in Information Technology field, prior CM experience in a large, dispersed organization, and direct line management experience. Candidate must have an ITIL v3 Intermediate certification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Secret DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain.
Preferred Qualifications:
ITIL v3 Expert certification. Strong experience using Remedy. Experience in the development and implementation of the full lifecycle CM disciplines.
