Description
Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications. Provides quality assurance support to B-2 modification team.  Evaluates manufacturing processes and equipment to determine capability, improve efficiency and assure quality standards.  Performs quality assurance inspections, process audits and surveillance of all phases of installations.  Assures all material components used comply with applicable standards.  Determines procedures for controlling product and process quality.  Reviews periodic defect summaries, quality trend analyses and related quality performance and customer satisfaction data.  Maintains liaison with manufacturing, engineering, material management, supplier and customer personnel to resolve quality problems.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree + 6 years experience or equivalent. Candidate must have expertise in B-2 modification, inspection and testing; specifications, drawings, processes and computer systems.  B2 Preliminary Review (PR) and Material Review Board (MRB) Authority and experience related to structural, electrical and systems assembly installations highly desired.  Must be able to work independently and be willing to travel up to 25% of the time. Must have strong teamwork skills, ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems, and have proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Active/current Secret security clearance required. Must meet the requirements to acquire and retain additional clearances to maintain employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Field and depot-level modification or maintenance experience preferred on B-2.  Experience in handling classified information, components, documents and computer systems on the B-2 or other platform requiring multiple classification levels.
