Description
Survivability and Low Observable (LO) systems engineer at WAFB, MO.  Perform on-aircraft visual inspections and perform LO diagnostic testing using customer support equipment (SE) to isolate anomalies and verify repairs.  Assist the customer with threat system analysis, B-2 operations analysis, LO system performance, and reporting fleet LO health using diagnostic test equipment and analytical tools.  Perform analysis on LO data to identify component and system performance trends, identify component defects, and identify potential areas of concern.  Manage the storage, inspection, calibration, and perform general maintenance on LO test equipment.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:


BS in Engineering or Physics plus 2 years applicable work experience is required, or zero years with a Masters Degree.  Must possess strong teamworking skills, proficiency with MS Office.  Must be able to obtain and maintain an active/current Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active/current Top Secret clearance, proficiency with programming applications such as MatLab, C and/or Java.  Experience in B-2 or other platform LO design, materials, maintenance and operational employment.  Knowledge of threat systems, RCS imaging and diagnostic testing equipment.
