Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Field Engineer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position will be located in Greece. A temporary period at Beale AFB, California may proceed transitioning to the final location.
The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's ISR Systems Business Unit which supports the Intelligence and Department of Defense customers in the areas of signal collection and processing, special purpose systems, full spectrum information operation systems and services.
The successful candidate will become part of the team that supports SIGINT Sensor installed on the Global Hawk aircraft that are deployed in support of worldwide operational deployments.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this postion, you must meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Associates Degree, Advanced Technical or Military Training.
- 3 years in maintenance and repair of complex electronic equipment.
- 5 years with hands on use of electronic test equipment.
- Position requires a current TS/SCI Clearance - No Exceptions.
Candidate must be eligible and meet Mobility Requirements for DoD Essential individual requirements for any AOR.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related with 5 years experience.
- Experience in pre and post mission analysis of a SIGINT sensor or other complex system.
- Detailed operating knowledge of Linux. Solaris is a plus.
