The Product Development & Engineering IT Team (PDEIT) provides services to HP R&D Labs worldwide.

 

This position is for an IT Engineer that will work a wide variety of software development and  Electronic Design Automation(EDA) tools.  PDEIT provides the infrastructure and the tools that enable 27,000 HP engineers and program managers to manage their electrical, mechanical and ASIC projects and designs.  The candidate will be expected to participate in IT project teams that are designing, developing, deploying and maintaining software development systems for HP.  Additionally, the candidate will be expected to learn existing business processes and how PDEIT support them.

The successful candidate MUST be pursuing their degree or have graduated within the past 12 months. 

 

 

Skills

 

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems of Electrical Engineering

Understand Intranet and Internet technologies: http, firewall, Java, .Net, C#,C++, Visual Basic
       HTML/DHTML, XML, middleware, etc.
Have good knowledge of software development processes and methods
Understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and
       methodologies.
Excellent team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in Software development of applications and Internet applications
Desirable experience in project and resources management
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Leadership qualities: Integrity, attention to detail, timeline sensitive,
       goal oriented, motivator
