Required Skills: Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or related discipline with a minimum of 9 years of related experience; Masters degree in similar disciplines with a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or PhD in similar disciplines with a minimum of 5 years related experience. Will: Will be the Group Supervisor of the Business Administration Group (5114) and will report to administratively to the Section Manager of 5140 and operationally to the Division Business Manager of 5110. Will be the Business Administration Manager of 5140 (role).Will be responsible for managing a team of six administrative and clerical personnel and manage an operations budget of (~$1-$2M annually), while administering and providing financial oversight to the Section's Service Centers (~$10M-$15M annually). Contribute to the evolution of web-based and database business reporting practices and tools within the section. Will assist in the development and management of administrative strategic business planning, including workforce planning. Will support Section and Division Management in long range planning, representing and committing Section resources for all administrative efforts and oversee the development of business processes in support of the organizational goals. Will provide Section 5140 management with recommendations having significant impact on business operations. Will provide oversight of facility utilization and future planning of office and laboratory space.

Responsible for directing all aspects of a broad range of administrative functions, including the areas of finance, human resources, facilities, acquisitions, communications, safety, IT, property assets, EH&S compliance, documentation and day to day operations, for Laboratory organizations in support of strategic goals and objectives. Ensures organizational, management, and employee compliance with Institute policies and procedures, as well as Government regulations. May act as liaison to other Laboratory organizations, including representation of and participation on various committees. May oversee events/programs for organization and/or Laboratory.
