DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

¨ Performs established quality control procedures in the production environment.

¨ Verifies production output by performing pre-defined quality control steps ensuring quality, content, positioning and print quality meet standards.

¨ Verifies all inserting materials are correct as per samples and instructions.

¨ Performs manual and machine inserting checks as per quality guidelines.

¨ Alerts management of any errors or issues that are found.

¨ Completes and signoff on all quality forms as required.

¨ Performs daily proxy tests on telephone and internet voting sites.

¨ Performs data entry for reprints on Visual FoxPro database.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Position will be responsible for supervising 1-8 temporary staff members dependant on work schedule.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in both English and Spanish before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Ability to handle tasks using Outlook, Word and Excel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

¨ While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee may occasionally be required to lift up to 10 pounds. The vision requirements include close and distant vision.
