Finance & Strategy organization within the Technology business unit is seeking aFinance & Strategy Assistantto perform two key functions. First, the position will be responsible for the administration of the Technical Paper approval process. This process applies to all publications or presentations that are intended to help COP achieve its business objectives. This position will be responsible for ensuring the approval form is complete, loading the form into Livelink and monitoring the approval progress. This position will interface with personnel globally.
Second, the position will be responsible for maintaining database/SharePoint site to track Technology funding requests made by external parties. Responsibilities include administration of the database, logging requests, tracking company replies and updating database with results. This position will be the point person for requests by Technology personnel to verify if requests have been made previously by external party and how we responded.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities may include:
* Administering the Technical Paper approval process.
* Maintaining database/SharePoint site to track Technology funding requests.
* Assisting in preparation of Executive management and Board of Directors presentations.
* Assisting the Business Development staff in preparation of agreements and documentation.
* Assisting Strategy department in maintaining asset characterization database.
Basic/Required Qualifications
* HS diploma or equivalent
* Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions
* 2 years of experience in database management
* Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Database administration, & SAP
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience within a Technology (research & development) environment.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills working with financial, technical, operational and management personnel.
* Knowledge Livelink
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability with strong teamwork skills and ability to receive work direction from multiple personnel.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work under tight deadlines
