This position is responsible for developing solutions and programs to drive business in the Health Care Market for the Solutions Partner Organization. This position requires close work with other team members that support the HC Solution Partner Organization, Account Managers, System Engineers, and Channel Partners and Business Unit teams. Selling would be both Direct and Indirect.
Will call on the Health Care focused Partner community and work with them to enhance their focus on solutions within HC and develop plans and programs to support. This includes the entire hp portfolio. Must have a solid understanding of the market and the provider space to address Government mandate requirements; increased market focus stemming from rising costs and the need for higher quality of healthcare services
o Have a solid understanding behind EMR and practice management solution (EMR application SW, practice management SW); Availability of distinctive optional value added services (e.g., lab portal, clinical decision support, etc.) and location-specific delivery and support capability for a physician office and or small regional hospital
Work with a team of product and industry specialists to support the HC partner business managers in both the commercial and public sector market to develop solutions/ programs that support the partners efforts in driving new business. This includes the following responsibilities:
- Supports the teams detailed sales plan to achieve revenue objectives and drives solutions and tools for the partner community
- Maintain monthly forecast and sales pipeline
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with appropriate internal and external resources and partners.
- Lead / Participate in account / territory planning and strategy activity with top partners
- Understand and appropriately leverage sales and support resources
- HP health care lead and evangelist for partners and Partner Business Mgrs
- Present hp's benefits, features and value differentiation to improve HP's win rate with HC market
- Work with the team to articulate appropriately at all levels the roadmaps for products features and benefits. Train the partner community to deliver an HP value message for the HC market
- Maintain high level of knowledge on the value and volume roadmaps, competition, pricing, market share, and key product differentiation.

Qualifications
Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree or Master's (graduate) degree in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant experience
5 or more years successful experience in technology Sales
Five or more years of experience selling storage solutions
Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong market knowledge in the Federal and SLED market
- Must have experience working on a sales team
- Experience working in a virtual sales environment is helpful
- Technical understanding of enterprise solutions is required.
- Experience working with channel partners and resellers
- Must have experience developing new business as well as in account management
