TNT Express to Reduce 4,000 Jobs Over Three Years

Logistics company TNT Express said Monday it plans to shed 4,000 jobs over the next three years to cut costs and improve profitability.
The Dutch company also plans to sell off its China and Brazil
The company, which employed 69,000 staff worldwide at the end of
2012, wants to reorganize its global operations and save 220 million
euros (188 million dollars) by 2015.
Interim CEO Bernard Bot cited "difficult market conditions and
strategic challenges" but said the company has "an unrivalled
European network" with worldwide connections.
