Sept. 23--West Corp. announced another job fair for its Tulsa call center, this time to add 300 additional care associates over the next two months.
The positions are responsible for receiving and processing incoming phone calls and providing customer service at its Tulsa Center at 3810 S. 103rd East Ave., the company announced.
"We are excited to be growing again," said John Klonecki, human resources director for the company, said in a release. "Not only does this growth represent an opportunity to add jobs to Tulsa, but it also presents another opportunity for career growth at West."
Kyle O'reilly, spokesman for West, said the hiring comes at the request of an existing client of West's that is a national toy retailer and wants to ramp up its customer service for the holidays.
He said the company currently employs 500, which is the same level the company had before its March job fair.
Each job pays between $9.50 and $12.50 per hour plus benefits, including an employer-matched 401(k), training and tuition reimbursement.
Applicants should be 18 years or older and have a minimum of six month's work experience, customer service skills and a high school diploma.
Applicants can apploy each Tuesday through Thursday at 8 a.m. through 7 p.m. after completing an online application at www.westemployment.com.
